I set up 'Hugo's Home Foot Care' back in the island of Jersey where I grew up. The aim is to provide adequate foot care to older adults who are unable to or require significant effort to leave their homes. Everybody needs healthy feet so I thought it was worth a try.
I qualified from Stonebridge College in Birmingham as a Level 3 Foot Health Practitioner. Having previously never touched a pair of feet other than my own, I knew I was in for a shock. Thankfully I came to the realisation this was the job for me, treating feet whilst having a good ole chat, what more could you want?
From a young age I've always been passionate about taking something from a challenged or perhaps difficult state and transforming it into something clean, tidy and 'hopefully' pain free. As you can see I like to apply this to my day job so, all smelly, scabby or supposidly inadequate feet, send them my way!
Originally from Jersey I have become accustomed to creamy Jersey milk, soft Jersey Royal potatoes and the general island way of living. Constantly being less than 10 minutes from a beach it was a tough call. However, I'm sure Surrey's vaste woodland, masterpiece architecture and extraordinary cricket team will be just as inviting.
